About Wendy
Born October 3rd 1941, Wendy Montgomery was beloved by her family and friends for both her loving disposition and witty sense of humour. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to helping others, especially shown through her inspiring charity and hospital work.
Wendy often wrote short stories and poems for her family, particularly her grandchildren, and was part of a postal writing group. She very much enjoyed sharing her writings and hoped to evoke through them joy and nostalgia. Her work ranged from an ever-evolving novel and beautiful short stories to silly poems about alligators. While she was an amateur writer, her work was entered into competitions and won prizes.
Her memory lives on in the people she loved and touched, as well as through her writing.
